Log a delivery
On the Deliveries screen, tap the green + to open the Log delivery form. Then work top to bottom:
- Pick the delivery type — Ambient, Chilled or Frozen.
- Choose the supplier from your list and the product type (e.g. Meat & Poultry).
- Check Arrived at — it’s set to now, and you can adjust it if you’re logging after the fact.
- Probe the goods and set the temperature on the dial. For chilled deliveries the rule is on screen: accepted deliveries must be 8°C or colder.
- Make the decision — Accept or Reject — and add your initials.
- Add a comment if there’s anything worth noting, and attach up to 5 photos or PDFs — delivery notes, the probe reading, damaged packaging — from your photo library or files.
- Tap Save. You’ll see “Delivery accepted” and the delivery appears in your list.
The Deliveries list
Every saved delivery lands here, ready to search and review.
- Counters — deliveries today, rejected today, and this week.
- Tabs — flick between Today, This week and This month.
- Search — find an entry by supplier, comment or product.
- Each card shows the supplier, date and time, product type, initials, the type chip (e.g. Chilled), the logged temperature and the Accepted or rejected status.
Quick answers
Log the actual reading and tell your Duty Chef or manager — the decision to accept or reject is theirs. If the delivery is turned away, mark it as rejected, return the goods to the sender and contact the supplier. The entry stays as your record — handy when you follow up with the supplier or review repeat problems.
Yes — the Arrived at field is editable, so set it to the time the delivery actually turned up.
Whatever tells the story: the delivery note, an invoice PDF, a photo of the probe reading, or damaged packaging if you’re rejecting. Up to five per delivery.
